In comparison to March 2020, multiple sectors hit by Covid-19 continue to suffer. Travel & tourism job postings are down 59 per cent, education down 37 per cent. Oil & gas, petroleum and power down 33 per cent, BPO job postings down 27 per cent and retail down 23 per cent.
Cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad have seen a spike in postings year-on-year at 14 per cent and six per cent respectively. While most of the cities continue with a trend of a slight decline in recruitment activities, according to the index.
